Job summaryAn opportunity has arisen for a band 6 community mental health nurse (RMN, full-time or part-time) within the Enhanced Duty team of the Specialist Older Mental Health Service (SOAMHS) based at Mill View Hospital in Hove. The operating hours of the service are 9am to 5pm Monday to Sunday. There may be a requirement to work out of hours and at weekends on a rota system for which enhancements will be paid. The enhanced duty team offer intensive assessment and support to older adults with mental health needs. It is a multi-disciplinary team and is part of the wider SOAMHS service.Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant will be responsible for completing mental health assessments, care and risk planning for clients referred to our service. The team carry a joint caseload and work collaboratively with partner agencies, VSCE and families/ carers.
