Job summaryIf you are keen to commence a rewarding career in community nursing, we have an exciting new opportunity.We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to undertake the Foundation Degree Science (FDSc) Nursing Associate programme via an Apprenticeship route. As a Trainee Nursing Associate you will be placed within one of the 8 community nursing hubs across Leicester/ Leicestershire, and work as part of the multi-professional team. This programme will provide you with the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours associated with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Standards for Nursing Associate and register with the NMC on Part 2 of the Register. The Nursing Associate qualification also provides you with a stepping stone to Part 1 Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse, or ongoing career development through a BSc Pathway.The role offers variety, creativity, and a collaborative way of delivering the highest standards of patient care. The programme will commence in February 2025.You will be allocated to a Community Nursing Hub that can support an Apprentice Nursing Associate.
