You will also provide and develop administrative support towards the achievement and monitoring of QOF, identifying and inviting patients for Long Term Condition reviews and updating clinical records accordingly.The team enjoy supporting one another to ensure work is completed to deadlines. To record episodes from incoming items of post.To provide and develop administrative support towards the achievement and monitoring of QOF, Enhanced Services and Data Quality.To provide an efficient and effective patient administration function within the primary care setting.General RequirementsPlease refer to the person specification.Principal DutiesRun reports and send invitations for Long Term Condition reviews and update patient records accordinglyProcess new patient registrations queries.Summarising of patient records/ notes as required.Processing and coding of electronic documents and incoming mail.Inputting and processing of child immunisation data.Inputting and processing of cervical cytology and breast screening data.Filling of normal pathology results.Processing of PPA monthly returns.To assist in the administrative support around inviting patients for annual reviews and extended services at the practices.Follow and adhere to practice policies and procedures.Use appropriate methods to communicate effectively within a team i.e. email, attending meetings.Carry out a variety of clerical duties as and when required i.e. scanning, filing, faxing and photocopying.Reporting of faults, equipment breakdown or failure, building maintenance to the support manager.Be aware of Health & Safety policies and procedures and report any occurrences of incidents to management, using the Trust incident reporting procedure.OtherTo be responsible for continuing personal development in line with PCS policies.To have an annual PDR with line manager.Support, network and provide cover for sites across the Primary Care Sheffield GP Practice Group, as required.Service DevelopmentAssist in development of practice policies and procedures.Job Description ReviewThis is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities and in discussion with the manager the post holder may be required to undertake other duties which fall within the banding of the post.
