Job summaryWe are looking to recruit hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our Domestic Services Team located at Fairfield General Hospital.Monday to Friday (30hrs) 07.30-14.00Saturday to Sunday (12hrs) 07.30-14.00(must be flexible to cover bank holidays as and when required)You will be part of a team working within our Estates & Facilities department, offering a high quality, flexible and customer focused service. The Domestic Assistant is an important member of the team who helps provide a range of duties across the hospital in a professional manner.Main duties of the jobYou will be required to carry out specific cleaning and other related duties to set procedures and standards. You will be required to work as part of a team and have the ability to use a degree of initiative to prioritise and organise the daily duties, whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times. Working in a care or hospital environment and cleaning experience is essential although full training will be given. NVQ Level 1 incleaning or willingness to work towards is desirable. Staff uniform will be provided.
