Job summaryBAND 3 HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTDo you want to do something a bit different?We are looking for 2 enthusiastic HCAs to join our team who work mainly in the community. The role involves visiting patients in their own home to help them set up their dialysis machines. A car is provided for the visits, and it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.Working hours are 7.30 - 15.30 and occasional late shifts 12.30 - 20.00 and includes weekends and Bank Holidays.You will part of a small team within Renal Services and full training will be given.If you are interested, please contact Natalie Millidge or any of the PD Nurses on Ext. 28308 for more information.Main duties of the jobResponsible for own actions, ensuring all patient interactions/observations are communicated to the appropriate healthcare practitioner.Undertake visits to patients homes in order to set up dialysis machineUndertake agreed clinical and non-clinical tasks, extending range following training in defined practices.
