Travel each week will fluctuate in line with business requirements. Travel will be required into the following locations: Coventry head office Birmingham campus Leeds campus Nottingham campus Manchester campus London area (Tower Hill, Holborn & Ealing) Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts. About our Department : Arden’s newly created Global Development Office is responsible for driving the international agenda within the institution, with a focus on international student recruitment and partnerships. The Global Development Office, is structured into 3 intertwined areas: - International Recruitment International Admissions and Conversion International Partnerships About the Opportunity: Working within Arden’s Global Development Office, the post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering plans for international student recruitment in key selected regions as well as providing support to other activities which are delivered within the Office. You will be expected to undertake a considerable amount of travel both in the UK and overseas. The International Recruitment Officer will involve close collaboration with colleagues in Arden University, and wider professional service departments in order to support student recruitment to the Arden University. About You: We are looking for an experienced International Recruitment Officer, with a deep understanding of international recruitment practices, and a proven track record of implementing student engagement in a higher education setting. You will need to:- Take ownership and lead on international recruitment, from specific regions / countries to meet targets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Develop relationships with key stakeholders in specific regions to support recruitment Assess qualifications, process applications, and maintain accurate student records (SITS). Develop and communicate admissions criteria and country-specific requirements. Collaborate with recruitment teams on entry standards, agent performance, and compliance. Provide data analysis on application trends and contribute to applicant communication strategies. Stay current with sector regulations, trends and support initiatives to promote Arden globally. Essential requirements: Proven experience in international student recruitment, ideally with experience in key regions / markets, including: - South Asia CIS Africa Europe Degree or equivalent experience Strong cross-cultural communication and content creation skills. A strategic, data-informed mindset with attention to detail. Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and recruitment activities. An inclusive approach and understanding of international student needs and journeys from previous roles. Strong collaboration and student engagement skills. Flexible approach to working, including willingness to undertake international travel minimum of 12 weeks per year as well as evening and weekend working as required Desirable requirements: Marketing or business postgraduate or vocational qualification (ie. CIM or IDM) Campaign development and implementation, evaluation and adjustment to maximise return on investment.
