We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to support the Head Chef with the daily provision of meals and refreshments to the pupils and staff. This will involve assisting in service of all meals and refreshments, ensuring the kitchen and dining rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard both during and after service, and correctly storing, labelling and rotating food items. The successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a busy Catering environment and an appreciation of cleanliness and hygiene standards. Working hours : 30 hours per week - 09:00-15:00 (5 over 7 days) Salary : Foundation scale point 11 which is equivalent to £15,444 per annum actual salary (£23,492 per annum FTE).
