Job summaryThe Paediatric Speciality is seeking to appoint 2PA fixed term Consultant post within the Community Paediatric team of UHB NHS Foundation Trust over a 6 month period. The team is commissioned to provide community paediatric services for Solihull GP registrant population. This post arises due to increasing clinical demandThe post holder will be expected to undertake one afternoon on call for Child protection medical examinations per week (Thursdays/Fridays)The post holder will attend departmental meeting one morning per month which includes peer review meetings. One clinic per fortnight to include neonatal developmental follow up, EHCP, other cases as per departmental requirementsThere is no acute paediatric component to the postMain duties of the jobThe department delivers services in a variety of settings including Community clinics, the Specialist Assessment Service, mainstream and special schools and Solihull Hospital outpatients department.
