Providing technical advice, training and support where necessary.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.Main duties of the jobThere is a vacancy within the Estates Department for a Maintenance Supervisor to manage and take charge of a busy multi skilled engineering and building workforce.Theywill have responsibility for the allocation and control of all planned preventative and reactive maintenance for both building and engineering disciplines using our electronic system.The post holder will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments and safe systems of work for all staff and areas under their control, also annual PDR's and will be expected to work at various bases as the workload demands.They will be required to have undertaken and successfully completed an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline with sufficient post apprenticeship experience preferably in a hospital/health care environment.About usCwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family.
