Job summary12 month fixe term contract15 hours per weekWe are looking for a Medical Secretary to provide an efficient Medical Secretarial service to the Consultants, Doctors and appropriate support staff within Sexual Health. To ensure management of, and assist in the organisation of office administration and to act as the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the consultants.Main duties of the jobTo provide an efficient Medical Secretarial service to the Consultants, Doctors and appropriate support staff within Sexual Health.Responsible for the provision of efficient, confidential and effective secretarial support within Sexual Health.The post-holder will be the initial point of contact for users of the Service, providing a professional approach when dealing with enquiries and to direct enquiries appropriately.To ensure management of, and assist in the organisation of office administration and to act as the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the consultants.Undertake a wide range of administrative and clerical duties in respect of providing sexual health services to the population of Rotherham, ensuring recording and monitoring of patient records are in line with service specifications for the service.Support Sexual Health professionals, ensuring good communication is maintained at all times to provide a high quality service for service usersAbout usThe Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (TRFT) is a combined acute and community Trust serving our local population of around 270,000 people.
