Job summaryA rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Mid Notts Care Home Team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a senior clinical role leading on support and education to care home providers across Mid Notts as well as providing clinical support and advice to residents with complex long term conditions.You will join an established team of Band 6 and Band 7 nurses and have the opportunity to develop this relatively new service in line with the national Enhanced Framework for Care Homes 2020.Based out of Newark Health Centre you will be predominantly covering the care homes in the Newark locality.Main duties of the jobApplicants should have recent demonstrable experience of working in care homes and delivering training and education to this staff group. You will have an excellent understanding of the current agenda and be able to demonstrate clinical knowledge and the ability to lead within a service.You will have excellent clinical knowledge with advanced problem solving and critical thinking.
