Job summaryAn opportunity has arisen to join UCLH as the North Central London Temporary Staffing Framework Lead.This is a high-profile role and will require the individual to work with stakeholders at all levels across multiple NHS Trusts as well as proactively engage new trusts to ensure organisations maximise opportunities.You will be responsible for supporting the Head of the Framework with the provision of high quality strategic and operational temporary staffing workforce transformation initiatives across North Central London. This will include supporting the sector to identify and implement solutions to temporary staffing requirements.There are currently a variety of approaches to provision of temporary staffing services across North Central London (NCL), with a mix of outsourced and in-sourced provision. There is a growing body of evidence to suggest that temporary staffing services could be operated more efficiently and effectively, if they were larger in scale. An agreed priority across London is to maximise the use of trust banks and establish regional banks or collaboration between banks to enable flexible workers to work across different trust banks and reduce agency spend significantly. The NCL Temporary Staffing Framework was created to support this strategy.Main duties of the jobYou will support the Head of the Framework to develop a clear plan for the framework and temporary staffing provision across NCL and support collaboration and improvement in temporary service practices. This involves reviewing and assessing the Framework Supplier performance and promote continuous improvement to the benefit of all Trusts operating under the framework.Ability to analyse and translate complex data to support this is vital. You will be expected to support covering the NCL HOF's absence and chair/host stakeholder meetings, manage escalations, organise diary's, book meetings, prioritise tasks and report to the Senior Leadership team.A proven champion of collaborative working, you will be an exemplar for excellent customer service with outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to nurture key relationships and influence at a senior level across multiple organisations.You will be an integral part of the team, demonstrating outstanding communication and influencing skills, motivated by challenging timelines and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
