An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well established and respected therapy teams who work on our 17- bed rehabilitation ward and our 20-bed stroke rehabilitation ward.The rotational post is suitable for new graduates (those who are due to become HCPC registered soon), as well as more experienced band 5s. This post is also suitable for those wishing to return to practice.The rotational post provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge in a range of specialties such as:Stroke / Neurological conditionsMedicineElderly CareSurgery & OrthopaedicsWe offer a comprehensive support package for band 5's to develop their skills; including the use of band 5 competencies, which covers key skills and learning opportunities required, workshops and training sessions. We have a strong band 5 therapy support group, a buddy system and regular in-service sessions with senior Occupational Therapists.Main duties of the jobThis post will enable the successful applicant to develop both their clinical reasoning and treatment skills further as well as gaining leadership experience across a wide range of services.
