Job summaryAssist the Procurement and Distribution (P&D) Team Leader in the following:Safe, high quality patient centred Procurement and Distribution services (P&D). This includes all aspects of medicine storage, including medical gases, aligned with the guidance document "Rules and Guidance for Pharmaceutical Distributors" and the Trust's Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (for medicines for human use) aka WDA(H).The planning, development, monitoring, audit, evaluation and delivery of the P&D services across the Trust.Ensuring that working practices meet requirements of medicines legislation as well as professional, local and national guidelines.Implementing necessary changes, thereby ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive, high quality service.Provide professional leadership and management of all aspects of P&D services for all staff members who work within the area.
