Job summaryWe have created this new community OT rotation between Community Therapies (long term disease management, rehab, complex equipment, posture and positioning, moving and handling etc) and ERS (rapid response admission avoidance and facilitated discharge from hospital, working with patients with an array of medical & social needs).Both teams benefit from their own dedicated OT and PT Lead, and as such you will receive professional line management and supervision from your B7 OT, alongside regular peer support opportunities. You will manage your own caseload, get involved in service development and provide clinical & operational supervision to junior staff. We will support you with your ongoing CPD including specialist study days, Masters modules in relevant subjects and clinical supervision to name but a few. We are proud of our accomplishments, our strong MDT approach and our constant evolution and development.We are a 7 day, 8am-9pm service, although our clinicians usually finish by 6pm. This could require prolonged concentration in an unpredictable environment.To be able to manage potentially stressful, upsetting or emotional situations in an empathetic manner when imparting bad news regarding rehabilitation potential.
