Job summaryThe Ridgeway Surgery are looking to recruit a part-time General Practitioner to join our growing dynamic clinical team. The post is for 6 sessions per week (this may increase to 7 sessions in 12 month's time).The post-holder will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with acute and long term conditions. In addition:a. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled populationb. The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract.c. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidanced. Effective management of long-term conditionse. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasksf. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidanceg. Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workloadh. Have own allocated listi. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit processj.
