We’re building the next Walmart-sized retailer ($790.09bn to be precise). If that sounds like a good way to spend the next 5+ years, we have two entry level openings! P.S. If you introduce us to a friend whom we hire for these roles, we will pay you and them £500 each. A great candidate looks like: Extroverted, thick skinned, agentic. High stamina (baseline is 9am-7pm Monday-Friday, 10-2.30pm on Saturdays) Comfortable with some excel bashing and CRM work. Wants skin in the game: a decent % of pay in equity, wants to work with us to IPO. Has experience closing deals and/or hustling! E.g., has run their own business, or been a sales rep previously at a startup. Loves winning and really hates losing. Example tasks include: Travelling to trade fairs and closing suppliers + deals. Lots and lots of outbounding. Working with our software engineers on automating as much of our process as possible to increase throughput. Random bits like renting out our old warehouse. I'm interested - what next? Take a read at dirac.software, and send me an interesting email + cover letter to ethan [at] dirac [dot] software (include your favourite book, something you've done or built in a sales/bd role and, if you can, a good pun!).
