The successful candidate will work within the paediatric service providing dietary advice across inpatient, outpatient and community settings and be supported by dietetic and assistant colleagues. There is potential for the successful applicant to take a lead in student trainingMain duties of the jobTo act as specialist clinician for the paediatric service , supporting the clinical lead/s with evolving and embedding best practice into the clinical area.To manage own specialist caseload in this area. This may include advising the MDT on the most appropriate form of nutritional management for children and cover for children's ward/special care baby unit/childrens day unit, educational establishments for children with additional learning needs and general/specialist Paediatric Clinics on the award winning Acre mill site as required. There is potential for post holder to be the lead paediatric dietitian for IBD depending on their previous experience.
