The service operates across 6 geographical clinic locations within the Heywood / Middleton / Rochdale (HMR) Borough providing a comprehensive Podiatry service for patients with musculoskeletal / biomechanical, diabetic, wound care, vascular foot issues and nail surgery. The service also operates a domiciliary provision which has a strict access criteria.We have strong links with other disciplines across Diabetology, Vascular Surgery, Microbiology, Radiology and Orthopaedics providing excellent opportunities for developing the successful candidate.Main duties of the jobYour caseload will include the management of high risk patients which will include a domiciliary caseload, MSK clinics, nail surgery and the management of patients with various other medical conditions. You will also have the opportunity work with inpatients and outpatients as part of our in-reach to Rochdale Infirmary to ensure the delivery of timely and seamless careGood diagnostic and clinical skills are essential. Organisational, time management and communication skills are also critical to this role. You should have the ability to work on your own as well as part of our friendly team.There are excellent opportunities to develop your skills with our establishedMSK and high risk teams.
