We have three inpatient areas: Chartridge Ward, Waterside Unit, and Buckinghamshire Neuro Rehabilitation Unit.Chartridge Ward have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join their team. This post would be suitable for newly qualified nurses, those due to qualify in the near future, or individuals who already have post-registration experience. Where relevant, we will support you to undertake our Trust Preceptorship programme, offering you the structured support needed to transition your knowledge into everyday practice successfully.Main duties of the jobChartridge Ward is a 22 bedded ward within the Community & Rehab Care Group. We care for individuals who are medically optimised for discharge, usually following a period of time in acute care, but who require nursing support until the appropriate care can be put into place to allow them to be discharged from hospital. This could be in the form of a Package of Care in the patients own home, or a placement in a Nursing or Residential Home. Our patients often have multiple health needs & chronic conditions.During your time on Chartridge Ward you will gain a wide range of knowledge and nursing skills.
