It is specific to the Ipswich site.7 day inpatient stroke rota ( hyperacute and acute care) - 28 inpatient bedsDaily TIA clinics and weekly outpatient clinics reviewing new referrals and stroke follow upsLeading and developing the educational requirement of the stroke serviceThere is the option to participate in additional activity including participating in the acute medicine on call rota, or as an alternative the regional telemedicine rota.About usEast Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) provides hospital and community health care . There is participation from an acute medicine and elderly care colleague in this rota.Programmed activities This is a 10 PA contract based on the recommendations from the BMA . This is split into 8.5 PAs direct clinical care and 1.5 supporting PAs.Direct clinical care 8.5PAs on average per week (includes clinical activity, clinically related activity and predictable emergency work).
