Job summaryUrgent Care Practitioner Lead (Salary £50,952 - £57,349* basic salary + 4% additional for Lead Role & Prescribing premium)We are looking for an Urgent Care Practitioner Lead to work with our friendly and supportive team at Faversham Medical Practice and Urgent Treatment Centre.An independent prescribing qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.This position requires working some Bank Holidays, regular Saturdays and Sundays, evenings and other cover when needed as our Urgent Treatment Centre is open 7 days a week 8am to 8pm.The successful applicant will lead the Urgent Treatment Centre within the practice on a day to day basis. This is paid at additional 30% rate for working on a Saturday and additional 60% rate for working on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, during contracted hours.We also give a prescribing premium of £3,000 gross per annum to FTE UCPs that have successfully passed the prescribing qualification and have become independent prescribers, payable over 12 months.
