Joining our Visitor Fundraising team, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of customer service by providing a warm welcome to our diverse audiences, asking for voluntary donations, and managing admission at the entrance of the museum. About the role We are recruiting for a full time Visitor Fundraiser to join our team on working a 2 week rolling rota, 1 in 2 weekends. As a part of our front of house team, you will be one of the first faces our visitors see when they enter the museum. You will have the confidence to engage with our visitors in a professional and friendly manner and ask for donations as part of a warm visitor welcome. Working with our wider Visitor Experience team, you will help to manage visitor flow at the entrance of the museum and be responsible for processing museum admission tickets. You will be placed at one of the most lively and busy locations in the Museum - actively promoting the museum offer, up selling our commercial and retail activities, and encouraging Gift Aid and email opt-ins to ensure we meet our targets.
