    • Job summary Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Psychiatrist within the South West area of Cardiff. The CMHT is based in Cardiff Bay and covers the neighbourhoods of Butetown, Grangetown, Riverside and Canton, with a combined population of 57,586. Although this post is full-time, consideration will be given to applicants who require flexible working arrangements. You will be able to take advantage of the excellent Consultant contract for Wales. There is an enhanced starting salary for this post of £130,380 per annum, rising to a maximum of £154,760 per annum.     • Job summary The Bexley ALD Epilepsy Team is a newly established service. The post holder will be expected to positively contribute towards the progression of the service. The post holder will be a member of the Bexley ALD Epilepsy Service, working under the consultant and epilepsy specialist nurse.     • Job summary The Uro-oncology unit provides a high quality and accessible cancer service predominantly for the people of South London. We have a long and distinguished history, particularly in the development of new radiotherapy techniques and in clinical trials of systemic agents. The population we serve at The Royal Marsden largely arise from the local hospitals: St Georges, Epsom and St Helier, Kingston and Croydon University hospital, all of which are members of The Royal Marsden prostate multidisciplinary team network (MDT). This helps to facilitate efficient patient pathways from diagnosis to treatment across the network. Although this role is predominantly to treat prostate cancer, the unit also is a centre for bladder and renal cancer and a supra-regional centre for testicular tumours and penile radiotherapy. This unit has a vibrant and busy research portfolio spanning radiotherapy and systemic therapy studies. Each of the consultants has a distinct area of research interest and several team members are international research leaders. The unit has a strong team ethos and case load is shared across the prostate consultants, ensuring robust peer review and service cover at all times. We have a small but able CNS team and are supported by Macmillan support workers. Two advanced nurse practitioners support the systemic prostate cancer therapy practice, and two specialist radiographers conduct independent on-treat clinics and contour for radiotherapy planning. Main duties of the job This post will support the treatment of uro-oncology cancer patients under the care of the uro- oncology team in Chelsea and Sutton. The post holder will contribute to consultant ward round cover primarily for our Chelsea site, providing consultant review of uro-oncology inpatients. The post will work cross site, spending one day a week supporting our Sutton uro-oncology team with the bladder work in Sutton.
