As an Internal Communications Officer, you will: Internal Communications Planning – Own and deliver PDSA’s internal communications plan, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and support for employee engagement initiatives. Content Creation & Channel Management – Manage a wide range of communications channels, ensuring content is timely, branded, accessible, and consistent with PDSA’s tone and values. Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with key stakeholders to design and implement impactful communication activities, campaigns, and organisational updates. Support for Leadership Communication – Advise senior leaders and directors on effective internal communication practices, messaging strategies, and opportunities for innovation. EDI Integration – Partner with Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion groups to ensure communications are inclusive and reflective of PDSA’s commitment to diversity. Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement – Evaluate communication effectiveness and use insights to continuously improve engagement and alignment with organisational goals. We’re seeking someone with: Internal Communications Expertise – Proven experience managing internal communications, including campaign development and delivery across varied platforms. Strong Content Creation Abilities – Skilled in crafting engaging, relevant, and inclusive content tailored for diverse employee audiences. Organisational & Self-Management Skills – Ability to manage a complex and shifting workload independently, while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Stakeholder Relationship Building – Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and engage with senior leaders to influence messaging. Knowledge of EDI and Change Communication (Desirable) – Experience embedding Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategies and understanding of change management communication.
