Duties include monitoring and recording of vital signs, escorting patients off the ward for investigations/scans, assisting with personal care and nutritional support. You will need to be flexible as this post includes days, nights and weekend working. Responsibilities You will work as a team to assist and perform clinical responsibilities as delegated by our qualified nursing staff, including though not limited to: Observing, monitoring and recording patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, oxygen saturations and weight. As well as providing personalised care such as infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety. Administrative duties such as answer the telephone, take messages and refer to the Staff Nurse for instructions, to take part as requested in ward/unit meetings, encouraging effective communications between other staff.
