With the possibility of a full time training post in Echocardiography. The Department offers a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations and therapies. These include, 2D/3D Transthoracic and Transoesophageal Echocardiography, DSE, Dysynchrony Studies, Physiologist led and Medically supervised Exercise Tolerance testing, RACPC, HUTT, Ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring and 7 day event recorders, Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, Pacemaker and complex device implant, (including follow-up), and Cardiac Catheterisation running from 2 Cardiac Catheter laboratories. The Department also offers a Physiologist led Valve clinic, PCI angioplasty and GP Community Cardiology services.
