Duties will include (but are not limited to): Leading and delivering the repairs and voids service for homes, directly managing a team of Responsive Repairs and Voids Officers, looking to continually develop and improve the service Leading on contract management of key repairs and voids contracts, overseeing all aspects of contract management, including performance monitoring and financial management Chairing regular contract meetings to ensure suppliers performance is in line with contracts and agreed performance standards and efficiency Working on emerging priorities, such as climate change, as well as damp, mould and disrepair Identifying opportunities for commercial activities while maintaining and enhancing customer relationships Monitoring and developing key performance indicators relating to the service, addressing poor performance and implementing improvements Responsible for the financial performance of the service, leading all allocated resources and maintaining budgetary control Experience & Skills required: Experience required in Social Housing and/or Local Authority Able to lead on contracts for repairs and void works A background in monitoring and improving supplier performance and efficiency Knowledge in decarbonisation, retrofit, damp, mould and disrepair Skills in budget and financial management Experience working with customers within housing Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role. You will join either our Mortgage Enforcement or Lender Sales team and you will be responsible for your own case load of conveyancing files. This opportunity is being paid on a day rate via an Umbrella company. We are looking to speak to individuals in a commutable distance to our Bristol offices as office attendance is required. Your Role As a Conveyancer your day to day remit includes: Be responsible for own caseload of conveyancing technical files, referring all legal aspects to the Team Manager when necessary. Ensure that telephone calls are dealt with in a professional manner that full telephone notes are taken and that calls relating to any legal aspects which the Technical Case Handler is unable to deal with are referred to the Team Manager. Regularly update clients and asset managers as to progress of matters. Accompanying management team on client visits and has the knowledge and confidence to contribute to the meeting/training.
