Early Help is fundamental to achieving this vision As a Family Support Worker, you will undertake appropriate assessment of the needs of Children Young People and their families, in line with the agreed Early Help Assessment Framework and 'Team around the family' methodology. Within this you will be expected to deliver identified interventions with Children Young People and their families, as part of an agreed action plan to achieve positive outcomes. You will carry a caseload of children and young people in families with unmet needs. Some of this work will be complex and challenging in nature and will consist of enduring needs. This case work is up to the thresholds for statutory services, with more focus on intensive support (Level 3). As a Family Support Worker, you will be required to record your case notes appropriately within the agreed Case Management IT system and in line with the Service's Professional Recording Standards.
