    • Job summary We are seeking a Specialist Grade Doctor within the Torbay Local Delivery Unit (LDU) of the Adult Clinical Directorate (see organizational structure below). It is a post for a General Adult Psychiatrist for patients age 18-65 years old (population 23,535) serving a large urban community in Torbay. Our Trust has worked closely with the commissioners to redesign the service and the recently formed Adult LDU for Torbay is divided into three teams of a broadly equitable population size based on GP patches. The team consists of a full time Clinical Team Leader, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Support Time and Recovery Workers. All 3 Community Mental Health Teams in Torbay share an Accommodation officer, a Personality Disorder Lead and a Carers support team. The team has a strong MDT approach and works in a cohesive manner to fulfil the role of offering an effective and safe recovery focussed service to people referred into the team. This team has access to specialist psychological therapy at STEP 4 provided by the Psychology and Psychological therapy Team. The post holder will provide medical advice regarding the on-going management of people who use services under the GPs. To support the role of the team the national guidance (DoH 2005, GMC 2005) on new ways of working for psychiatrists and their teams has been adopted. Main duties of the job The post holder will be currently based at the Health and Wellbeing Clinic, (Chadwell Centre) within the Paignton area, where private office space with PC accessibility and IT support is available and appropriate secretarial support will be provided.     • Barking Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join the newly formed Digestive Diseases Centre (DDC) within the Division of Surgery. The DDC aims to develop a Centre of Excellence in North East London and was established by amalgamating Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Upper GI, and Colorectal Surgery within the Division of Surgery. The Endoscopy Service, hosted within the Division of Surgery, is delivered by clinicians in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Upper & Lower GI Surgery, and 3 Clinical Endoscopists. The post will provide flexible cover for the endoscopy services at Queens Hospital and King George Hospital. BHRUT, one of the busiest NHS trusts in Greater London, performs over 18,000 GI endoscopy procedures per year in JAG-accredited units. We aim to attract tertiary referrals for complex polyps with the aid of advanced EMR, ESD, and hybrid procedures. We are already the referral centre for TEMS procedures for NE London. This is an opportunity to join a busy, dynamic multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the services we provide to our population. We plan to develop JAG training courses at our Trust, which the successful applicant can contribute to. We undertake a variety of procedures, including Diagnostic and therapeutic OGD and Colonoscopy, EMR, Colonic stenting; ERCP, EUS (radial and linear), Capsule Endoscopy, Oesophageal pH and manometry studies.
