GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a school in Sheffield from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to shape students' understanding of the digital world and prepare them for a technology-driven future. As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons across Key Stages, helping students develop skills in coding, computational thinking, and digital problem-solving. Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across different Key Stages. Introduce students to programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch. Support pupils in understanding computer systems, algorithms, and cybersecurity. Encourage critical thinking and practical application of digital skills. Monitor progress and provide tailored feedback to support improvement. Requirements for Computer Science Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Specialism in Computer Science, ICT, or related field. Proven experience teaching Computer Science in secondary schools. Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and emerging technologies.
