We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Pacing and Electrophysiology into our busy unit. We undertake over 500 Electrophysiology studies & ablations including complex multi site mapping for arrhythmias. We perform over 1000 pacemaker, Implantable Defibrillator systems, Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapies, leadless pacemakers and loop recorder procedures each year. The unit also provides a lead extraction service for our network. Our Pacemaker and ICD patients are supported by daily physiologist follow-up patient clinics & device nurse team. You will have experience in Pacing and / or EP and hold BHRS or IBHRE qualifications and possess BSc in clinical physiology or equivalent and be on the RCCP register As a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist the post holder will be required to work as an autonomous, competent practitioner within the Cardiac Investigations Unit. Providing a highly specialised clinical technical service in the area of cardiac rhythm management that impact directly upon the clinical management of patients. This will be underpinned by highly developed specialist knowledge gain by postgraduate training and completion of a relevant qualification.
