Job summary The role will involve supporting the Critical Care Unit. There will be an opportunity to work within the MDT including the ICU nursing team and medical team in Critical Care therefore experience in this area is essential. Previous experience in working in a Critical Care setting through flexible staffing shifts would be beneficial for this role to understand the nature of this specialised are. Main duties of the job Duties would include patient care, manual handling, assisting with invasive procedures, monitoring of stock levels, pathology orders and sample collection, general cleaning and preparation of clinical areas to facilitate discharges and admissions, also liaising with the wider MDT for the benefit of patients.
