Monitor student progress, providing feedback and adjusting support strategies as needed, while contributing to the improvement of teaching practices through reflective collaboration. Follow individual care and medical plans, including administering medication and assisting with personal care, while promoting independence and ensuring high standards of support. Utilise appropriate communication techniques to help students engage fully in activities under the direction of the class teacher. Requirements: A genuine passion for working with special educational needs student, especially those with moderate to severe learning difficulties. Experience in a similar role or relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Primary SEN Teaching Assistant qualification, SEN qualifications) is preferred. Strong understanding of learning disabilities, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
