As the Proposition Owner, you will be at the forefront of developing, implementing, and optimising our propositions in the solution space. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share by strategically positioning and pricing our products and services. You will take ownership of the product roadmap, ensuring its successful delivery, and spearhead growth through exceptional go-to-market strategies.You will lead a team of 15-30 operational FTE, with a smaller portion being direct reports, but with the potential for significant indirect oversight as our propositions expand.If you are passionate about innovation, driving business success, and making a positive impact in the energy sector, this is the role for you. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:Spearhead the end-to-end development of customer-facing propositions focused on the electrification of heating, from initial concept to market launch.Craft and execute robust go-to-market strategies to ensure the success of our propositions across diverse channels.Create captivating value propositions that set E.ON Next apart from competitors and deeply resonate with our diverse customer base.Dive deep into market research to understand customer needs, regulatory influences, and competitive landscapes, leveraging insights to shape proposition development.Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather valuable feedback and insights, building a foundation for success.Design and implement pricing strategies that balance profitability with market dynamics and customer perceptions.Define the commercial model for propositions, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.Analyse pricing and product performance to identify opportunities for growth, margin improvement, and cost optimisation.Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of proposition and pricing strategies.Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, and external partners to ensure propositions are compelling and well-integrated.Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance the value proposition of our offerings.Oversee the development of the value and supply chain necessary to support propositions, ensuring operational efficiency and sustainability.Are we the perfect match?Proven track record in product management, encompassing development, lifecycle management, and launching new products & services with a customer-centric approach.Strong entrepreneurial skills, demonstrating the ability to identify value throughout the value chain and optimise propositions for maximum value.Customer-centric mindset, adept at understanding customer needs and crafting propositions that deliver value and growth to E.ON.Firm understanding of pricing strategies and methodologies, including value-based pricing, competitive analysis, and pricing optimisation.Strong financial analysis skills, capable of assessing profitability, analysing pricing and product performance data, and confidently managing P&L responsibilities.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, modelling key behaviours and fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead high-performing teams and influence stakeholders to drive proposition and pricing strategies forward.Proven ability to effectively manage large teams, including 15-30 operational full-time equivalents (FTE), with experience in both direct and indirect oversight roles.It would be great if you had:Marketing experience and skillset would be advantageous but not essential for this role.Background in a corporate environment with an entrepreneurial and delivery-focused mindset is desirable.Ability to challenge existing thinking and work methods to drive innovation or value.Understanding of the residential heating market, including customer needs, technological trends, and regulatory landscapes.Strong commercial acumen, with experience in developing business models, negotiating partnerships, and managing P&L.Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring teams and effectively driving projects forward.Here’s what else you need to know:Closing date – Wednesday 24th April 2024LLD bandingAnnual bonus - proposition performance basedLocation – Hybrid with travel to Nottingham, Westwood and London when required.
