The fellow will join our team of five surgeons for a one year fellowship, with attachment to one senior consultant per six months. OEM Liaison: Effectively liaise with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Daimler Truck, to stay updated on product developments, promotions, and ensure smooth order processing and customer support. Upholding Values: Consistently uphold Marshall values in all interactions with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professionalism and integrity that reflects positively on the brand. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies. You'll specifically track the impact of the new product launch on market dynamics. CRM Management: Accurately record and manage customer information and sales activities within our CRM system, ensuring data integrity and effective pipeline management. Collaboration: Work closely with the service, parts, and finance departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale through to aftercare. Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, especially those related to vehicle sales and finance. Requirements Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the commercial vehicle or automotive industry, with a strong understanding of B2B sales cycles. Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and a clear understanding of what it takes to drive revenue. Strong prospecting, negotiation, and proposal generation skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders, including those at C-Suite level. Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven with a hunter mentality and comfortable with extensive cold calling and field-based sales. Ability to work independently, manage a busy sales pipeline, and spend significant time travelling within the territory. Good understanding of commercial vehicle specifications, operating costs, and customer operational needs, particularly in relation to total cost of ownership. Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. A full, clean UK driving license is essential, ideally with experience driving commercial vehicles for demonstration purposes. Knowledge of Daimler Truck products (Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Fuso), their associated services, and the broader commercial vehicle market is highly desirable.
