Your job is to make sure games and applications give the best user experience by being linguistic bug free Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and correctness, and its accordance to cultural rules To do this you will learn how to follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards which we have optimised over the years to be the best in the industry You’ll use a variety of industry standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports that get you noticed as someone who is trusted and cares about making games better Reporting issues is where it starts but you’ll also have ownership to ensure that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly You’ll become the LQA Expert across a broad range of Indie to AAA projects and given areas of specialisation You’ll own, manage, create, and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Undertaking of a variety of Building Surveys including measured surveys, condition surveys and access audits Conducting regular site visits, snagging and de-snagging inspections, focusing on defect diagnosis and producing written reports Assisting in ensuring that all work is in full compliance with relevant statutory requirements and regulations, as well our client’s needs Collaborating with Building Surveyors with their contract administration Providing building surveying design solutions and producing reports Assisting with Party Wall, Dilapidations and other quasi-legal projects Experience required: Attained BSc in Building Surveying 3-5 years' consultancy experience Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Proficient in Excel and Word Good numeracy skills Ability to write succinct and accurate reports A good knowledge of the current Building Regulations and Planning Laws Positive working attitude with good communication skills and flexibility in a dynamic role within an established team Rewards and Benefits: Home/office working policy Flexible working policy Annual leave – sell, buy & carry-over policies Health Shield cash plan Long service award Incentive scheme Cycle-to-work scheme Life assurance Annual season ticket loan Generous maternity & paternity pay Working hours: Monday – Friday Hybrid opportunity; 2 days WFH Flexible working hours Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
