The appointee will be required to work rotational shifts including weekends and bank holidays as necessary, with a flexible manner to ensure a seamless whole service approach. Main duties of the job Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team on the ward, the post-holder will: Use their specialist knowledge and skills of sports and exercise to plan and provide a flexible, client-centred programme of exercise/sports activities and other appropriate interventions for individuals and groups of people who are experiencing mental illness and admitted to the in-patient wards, with supervision when required. Coordinate a specific patient-focused aspect of the occupational therapy provision on the wards. Be responsible for their own caseload of patients within their sphere of knowledge and skill, seeking advice and guidance when necessary. Be responsible for maintaining the sports and exercise resources on the wards, including ordering of equipment and ensuring safe use. You will also promote the spa products and services and work as part of a team to achieve budgeted targets and KPI's. You will embrace every opportunity to create extra special moments for our guests and provide a personal experience our guests will love. Joining the dedicated Spa department, you will: Ensure that all customers are provided with high quality treatments have exceptional knowledge of all treatment and ESPA products Promote ESPA products for guest to purchase Engage with guests in order to promote guest loyalty and memorable experiences Ensure our guests experience our high levels of comfort and quality Take pride in the work you do You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be approachable to guests, spa members and other employees. You will be a point of contact to both guests and employees so you must be well presented and have high standards of appearance. You will be flexible about working weekends. On your first day you will begin a structured 12 week learning journey, giving you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be a great Spa Therapist. With this in mind, we are looking for a Spa Therapist who: HNC or HND qualified or have equivalent beauty qualifications.
