Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant: Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEN. Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans. Create a nurturing and supportive environment for all learners. Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and social skills. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support progress. Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable. A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support.
