    • Job Title: Technical Inspector- AW139 Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience (tax free) Location: Abu Dhabi We currently have a vacancy to join a leading provider of comprehensive aviation services based in the Middle East, as a Technical Inspector on the AW139 aircraft. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi and offers a full relocation package for the successful candidate. The company specialises in delivering customised aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, logistics and supply chain services to military and civil aviation customers across the region. Whilst their head office is based in Abu Dhabi, they have a number of operational facilities across various UAE military bases and aviation sites. The company plays a key role in supporting the UAE Armed Forces and other regional air forces. They support a wide range of both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft including military helicopters such as Black Hawks, Chinooks and Apaches as well as transport aircraft such as C130 Hercules. Their services include line and base maintenance, avionics, airframe and engine repair and comprehensive logistical support. Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, the Technical Inspector is a technical expert for assigned aircraft/ workshop and responsible for clearing all the critical (Grounding-X, Circled-X) unscheduled/ scheduled maintenance and repair actions on assigned aircraft/ components. The Technical Inspector is responsible for the daily “by the book” maintenance/ repair of all relevant aircraft/ components and the proper completion of aircraft daily maintenance and historical records. The operation works a 24 hour shift pattern comprising of 3 x 8 hour shifts so you will be expected to work a mixture of days and nights. Main Responsibilities: Review and audit technical records that support airworthiness of all aircraft and associated parts, components and mission equipment in accordance with OEM requirements, applicable technical publications and or regulations. Perform inspection of aircraft and components during their removal, disassembly, assembly, installation and adjustment phases of incorporation onto aircraft. Ensures workmanship and materials conform to the OEM and / or customer specifications and maintenance procedures. Ensure that all Work-In-Progress is properly documented and that corrective actions used will be recorded in accordance with OEM, U.S. Army TAMMS-(A) and approved SOP requirements. Responsible for proper aircraft historical record maintenance to ensure no over flights of inspection or component Service Life Limits. Responsible for the timely and accurate review and execution of all OEM Maintenance and Safety messages (i.e. ASB, SB, etc). Responsible for the monitoring and submission of Product Quality Deficiency Reports when required. May be required to provide Quality Control assistance during aircraft incidents and accidents. Responsible to provide Quality Control oversight of all aircraft maintenance actions and modifications. Determines accuracy of installation of aircraft components using general hand tools protractor, micrometer, calipers, gauges and associated test equipment to ensure that specified tolerances are met. May be required to perform duties of Quality Control Supervisor in their absence and any other duty appointed by program leadership. Perform scheduled and unscheduled facility safety audits to ensure policy compliance. Reports irregularities of used practices that could cause injury to personnel, damage the aircraft / equipment or deems the aircraft unsafe to operate. Advises QC Supervisor in the evaluation of reported irregularities. Comply with all company and customer SOP’s and regulations. Reviews aircraft records to determine fault trends and specific problem areas. Monitors and evaluates aircraft, equipment, components, maintenance processes and item consumption to identify root causes of failures. Prepare and process all necessary correspondence, technical documents and reports as per company and customer requirements. Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM). - Previous Aviation Maintenance experience specifically on the AW139. - Rotary Wing Quality Control or second signature experience, preferably on AW139 platform. - Quality Control or Second Signature experience on aircraft modifications is preferred. - Extensive knowledge of Leonardo Helicopter Division component logcards and aircraft historical records is preferred. - Field and Intermediate Maintenance level experience is preferred. - Knowledge of SAR or VIP configurations as applicable to the position applied for is preferred. - Knowledge of the Military Aviation Maintenance system is highly desired (Preferably TAMMS-A, or AMS/ AMOS/ TRAX eMRO). - Must possess a strong knowledge of AW139 operational parameters including associated airframe, equipment and maintenance programs. - Must have a good practical knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite - Co-ordinates with the Support, Analysis and Engineering section to resolve technical issues. - Must be willing to travel or relocate to Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) for short or long rotations, work weekends, holidays, shifts, overtime, deploy etc., in support of the company’s mission requirements.
