As a band 6 you will also be supported to hold the surgical unit at times to support the wider surgical business unit. As part of this we have been focusing on team time outs days to continually educate and train all the staff to update them on all the knowledge base that they will need. The management team on the ward are expected to work closely with the Surgeons and Education team to achieve this.
