As Transformation Delivery Manager, approximately 60% of your time will focus on overseeing our Transformation Programme's infrastructure, while the remaining 40% will involve hands-on project management for key delivery projects. We welcome and celebrate the diversity of our team and our patients, and are committed to offering equal opportunities and access for all people and groups in society.Job descriptionJob responsibilitiesResponsibilities and Duties:Programme Management:Manage the definition and planning of the overall Transformation Programme, maintaining a live roadmap and supporting high-level programme plan.Identify, document and track the benefits that will emerge from the Transformation Programme and its constituent projects.Provide assurance to the Executive Team that projects are only initiated subject to a robust business case.Work with Executive Team sponsors, project teams and resource managers to plan for and monitor resource needs, ensuring finite resources are most appropriately allocated to change work and proactively securing solutions to future or current resource gaps.Work with Executive Team sponsors, project teams and business leads to document, manage and address programme-level risks and issues.Tracking and reporting programme-level delivery.Lead and oversee a coordinated approach to business readiness for the changes being delivered by the Transformation Programme, in terms of communications, engagement, training needs assessment, training development, training delivery and helping staff manage the psychological aspects of change.Project Management:Be responsible for every aspect of the project lifecycle, including comprehensive project artefacts.Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines. Adjust schedules and targets on the project, as needs or finances change.Ensure appropriate resource availability and allocation.Delegate tasks on the project to people best positioned to complete them. Support delegates to fulfil their tasks, managing and prioritising own and others workload appropriately.Manage unpredictable situations and conflicting priorities, and find solutions to problems as they arise, obtaining advice and guidance when needed.Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.Manage and mitigate risks.Manage all relevant stakeholders, including handling delicate conversations and negotiations.Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
